ABOUT ME
Carly currently works as the Daybreak reporter at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Before WHSV-TV, she worked as the Positively Virginia reporter and the 7 p.m. producer at WSET-TV in Lynchburg.
She is behind the launch of Positively Virginia, a part of WSET.com that featured local community news. Carly operated as a one man band reporter for the weekly segment and fronted her packages live on WSET's morning show.
Before working at WSET, she produced and reported for the award-winning show Carolina Week at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her internships include WSOC-TV in Charlotte, where she honed her multimedia skills and worked with the web team. In the summer of 2008, she also traveled to northwestern Peru to report about global health issues. When she’s not finding a story, Carly enjoys singing classical music and making gluten-free food.
