Meth Lab Clean Up Costs May Change Hands:
Carly currently works as a reporter and weekend co-anchor at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Before, she worked as the morning reporter and fill-in anchor/producer.
She is excited for the opportunity to work on the evening shift. However, she also enjoyed the morning show atmosphere because of the team work required by just a handful of individuals to put a two hour show on the air.
Before WHSV-TV, she worked as the Positively Virginia reporter and the 7 p.m. producer at WSET-TV in Lynchburg.
She is behind the launch of Positively Virginia, a part of WSET.com that featured local community news. Carly operated as a one man band reporter for the weekly segment and fronted her packages live on WSET's morning show.
She got her start producing and reporting for the award-winning show Carolina Week at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her internships include WSOC-TV in Charlotte, where she honed her multimedia skills and worked with the web team. In the summer of 2008, she also traveled to northwestern Peru to report about global health issues. When she’s not finding a story, Carly enjoys singing classical music and making gluten-free food.
